Introducing Tarteel Online

World Class Memorisation at Home

16th  SEPTEMBER, 2017

We’re happy to bring you some news about the site. We’ve partnered up with Tarteel Online, an online Qur’an teaching academy.

Tarteel Online is, as the name suggests, an online Qur’an academy for hifdth training and Qur’an reading. Founded by Saiyyidah, futurist and international trainer; Idris, ex-deputy head teacher of a private, Islamic School in London and digital strategist; and Shaykh Mostafa Ahmed Mostafa Soliman, owner of a successful madrassa in Cairo with ijazah in all 10 qira’at of Quran from Shaykh Dr. Ahmed Al-Ma’sarawi, and Al-Azhar University.

The principle behind Tarteel Online is that in today’s world we are overloaded with information and resources on where to learn; how to read and memorise the Quran but many are still lacking in direction. Tarteel Online enables you to know where you are and where you are going, and then gives you the required practical steps through one-to-one teaching support and motivation based on Islamic principles.

One to One Classes

Tajweed and Qira’at

We do this through our online platform and one-to-one and group classes.

“Tarteel Online enables you to know where you are and where you are going, and then gives you the required practical steps through one-to-one teaching support and motivation based on Islamic principles”

What sets them apart from other Qur’an online schools is that all of their teachers have a high standard of ijazah to teach Quran, an ability to speak a good standard of English and are trained and experienced in teaching Qur’an to non-Arabic speakers. Besides being qualified professionals in teaching Qur’an, our teachers have extensive experience in teaching Makharij, Tajweed, Qira’at and hence the correct way of reciting and memorizing Qur’an.

The Noble Qur’an

The Noble Qur’an

This is the Holy Book which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Allah’s Peace and Blessing be upon him) as a guidance to mankind. It was revealed to him over twenty-three years. The first revelation came to him when he was contemplating in the cave of Hira.

Then suddenly, the Angel Jibril appeared to him and asked him to read. The Prophet,  (Allah’s Peace and Blessing be upon him), being illiterate, said, “I cannot read!” Jibril embraced him tightly and then released him saying “Read!” Again the Prophet (Allah’s Peace and Blessing be upon him) said, “I cannot read!” Once again,  Jibril embraced him tightly and then released him saying

“Read in the Name of your Lord Who created. He created man from a clot of blood. Read and your Lord is the Most Bountiful. He Who has taught by the pen. Taught man what he knew not.”

[Al-‘Alaq 96:1-5]

Quran Reader HD

Quran Reader HD

Quran Reader HD is an excellent IPad app that brings the Qur’an to the iPad. qreaderhd2 This is a really good app, which if you read the 15-line Qur’an in the Uthmaani script is very useful indeed. Almost worth buying an iPad just for this app! It is also available for the iPhone. See links below.

Simply tap and hold on an ayah to play the recitation, create a note, view the translation or view the tafseer.

* Verse-by-verse Recitation & Background Audio*
Use the audio feature to listen to the beautiful recitation of Sheikh Abdelbasit Abdelsamad. If you’re interested in memorization you can set it to automatically repeat each verse as it goes or have it repeat the entire selection. You can choose a specific group of ayahs to play or listen to the end of the surah or continue on and play the entire Quran. Quran Reader will highlight each verse as you listen to the recitation, letting you follow along and improve your reading skills. Listen to the Quran in the car or on the go even when your iPad is locked with background audio.

Help memorising Juz ‘Amma

Help memorising Juz ‘Amma

The MQ Project is an idea to aid in the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an.

It is really to help new or young muslims to memorise the last part of the Holy Qur’an, commonly called Juz ‘Amma. How does it work?

Each page from Juz ‘Amma (30th Part) of the Holy Qur’an is presented in a separate PDF file or you can download an entire Juz in a PDF file.

Each PDF file has sound files embedded in them so that when you click on a verse number, that verse gets recited.

You simply click on the ayah number in order to listen to a recital of the ayah. To listen again, just click the ayah number again – as many times as you need. You then simply move to the next ayah. If you are ready you can then click on the page number at the bottom to listen to a recital of the whole page.

The advantage of this is that it is like looking at the page of the Qur’an itself. There is also an indication of whether it is a left hand page or right hand page. All of these things benefit you when you are memorising.

We have also made available the MP3 files for each individual page. There can be downloaded to an MP3 player to also aid in revision. Click here to listen to a sample: [audio:http://www.hajarun.org/files/qp/juz30/Juz30-604.mp3|titles=Juz30-604]
